Amy
Amy is an accomplished violinist and educator based in West Hampstead, boasting over 8 years of teaching experience. Her diverse student base spans ages 5 and above, encompassing individuals of all skill levels. Amy has garnered acclaim for guiding her students successfully through ABRSM exams and facilitating on-stage performances.
In her teaching approach, Amy endeavours to foster a positive and constructive relationship between the student and the violin, while instilling focus and determination. Central to her teaching philosophy is the implementation of personalized goal-setting and encouragement. Amy achieves this through meticulously structured lesson plans tailored to the unique goals and commitments of each individual student.
Having completed her master's degree in Music and Music Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Amy has established herself as a versatile performer. She regularly graces the stage as a soloist, as well as contributing to orchestral and chamber music performances throughout Europe. Amy's extensive training includes mentorship under renowned professors such as Itzakh Rashkovsky, Jaqueline Ross, and Bartosz Woroch. Her classical training background equips her with a deep understanding of violin pedagogy.
Amy's impressive resume also includes collaborative performances with esteemed ensembles such as the English National Ballet Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
