Catherine

Catherine has been teaching piano, cello & music theory for over ten years, bringing a wealth of experience in teaching students of all levels of experience from beginners up to professional level. Catherine tailors her teaching approach for each student individually, aimed at bringing out the very best in each musician. Catherine's pupils regularly enter for music exams and auditions. 

As a performer, she has played solo recitals at many notable venues including the Southbank Centre, Wigmore Hall and St.Martin-in-the-Fields. As well as being a dynamic performer, Catherine also works as a session musician and has recorded in studios such as Abbey Road Studios and RAK Studio in London. 

She has won awards from: Moncalieri European Music Competition (Italy), Concordia Foundation (UK), Young International Janigro Competition (Croatia), Richard Wagner Foundation (Germany), Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now (Germany), Hanggi Foundation (Switzerland) and Meindl Society (Germany).
