Ellen
Ellen is a highly skilled jazz and pop vocalist and teacher. She graduated from Leeds Conservatoire with a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Vocals and is currently pursuing a Guildhall Artists Masters in Jazz Studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Ellen’s teaching focuses on developing both technical skills and musicality, ensuring each student builds a strong foundation in technique and control. She incorporates confidence-building exercises and teaches harmony and rhythm to help students understand the theory behind the music. Her lessons also include tailored guidance for practice between sessions and cover a diverse range of musical styles, including musical theatre, pop, and jazz. Ellen's lessons are personalised and supportive, making her an excellent choice for students looking to improve their singing in a professional and encouraging environment.
Ellen performed with notable groups such as Leeds Conservatoire’s Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, the Conservatoire UK Big Band, and led her own original project, Bella. Since moving to London, she has continued to build her performance career, appearing at notable venues such as Servant Jazz Quarters, Haggerston Brewery, and The Spice of Life.
