Jordan

Jordan is a passionate and highly qualified music teacher dedicated to inspiring students of all ages and abilities. Having begun playing the violin at age 6, she brings a lifelong love of music to her teaching, holding a Master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied under Nicole Wilson (English National Opera, London Symphony Orchestra), and a First-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she was a scholarship student under Lowri Porter (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Welsh National Opera).

Jordan’s teaching experience spans students as young as 4 to those over 18, with a proven track record of success—most of her pupils achieve Merit or Distinction in ABRSM exams. Parents and students describe her as bubbly and enthusiastic, with an ability to balance encouragement with discipline to ensure progress. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating enjoyable, engaging lessons while building a strong technical foundation tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals. Whether a student dreams of mastering an instrument, pursuing music professionally, or simply playing for fun, Jordan designs personalized lesson plans to help them thrive.

Beyond the classroom, Jordan’s active performance career—including a 2020 West End debut with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra and regular roles in shows like Phantom of the Opera in London and abroad—enriches her teaching with real-world expertise. In 2023 and 2024, she toured prestigious venues across the U.K., China, India, and the Middle East, bringing a wealth of professional insight to her students.

Jordan finds great joy in teaching and watching her students’ confidence and skills grow. For her, it’s not just about exams but about nurturing a lifelong passion for music, whether as a hobby or a future career, just as it has been in her own journey.
