HARP & PIANO
Lea
Lea Kozokaro started playing piano at five and harp at seven. At thirteen, she joined the Royal Academy of Music’s Junior Department for five years of study. She also attended the Purcell School for Young Musicians and later earned a degree in Classical Harp Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with harpists Charlotte Seale and Keziah Thomas.
As a teacher, Lea focuses on piano and harp lessons that fit each student’s needs. She aims to build skills and confidence while keeping music enjoyable, no matter your level. She’s led projects across the UK, like The Messengers programme and workshops for kids and adults with special needs in London, to make music accessible to everyone.
Lea has extensive experience performing—solo, in small groups, and with orchestras—starting at a young age. She has played with groups like the National Children’s Orchestra, the European Union Youth Orchestra, and the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra, performing at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, and Queen Elizabeth Hall. She’s also worked with composers on new music, recording pieces and tutoring as a harp specialist for the Guildhall Young Composers Course.
