Sue

Sue is a dedicated violinist and experienced teacher, passionate about helping students of all ages and abilities discover the joy of music. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the Okinawa Prefectural University of the Arts in Japan, where she built a strong foundation in both performance and pedagogy.

An experienced educator for violin, Sue has worked with students ranging from young beginners to adult learners in both private and group settings. She has taught using the Suzuki Method and other approaches, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style to foster technical skill, musical expression, and confidence. Her patient and encouraging teaching style ensures that music remains an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all.

Beyond teaching, Sue has performed as a violinist and violist with orchestras and ensembles in Japan and has participated in international music festivals in Germany and Italy. She also has experience leading early childhood music sessions, integrating play-based learning with foundational music skills.

Now based in London, Sue is passionate about inspiring young musicians and helping them build confidence through engaging and dynamic lessons.
