Shabnam
Shabnam is a British-Iranian cellist, pianist, and dedicated music educator with a Postgraduate Diploma in classical cello performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. With extensive teaching experience across London, she has worked with students of all ages and abilities, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs and goals.
Her teaching philosophy emphasises building a strong technical foundation in instrumental performance, complemented by a thorough understanding of music theory. Shabnam is known for creating engaging, personalised lessons that foster a joy for learning while helping students achieve their best, whether they are preparing for exams, developing new skills, or pursuing music for personal enjoyment.
In addition to one-on-one teaching, Shabnam has directed youth orchestras and ensemble projects, bringing together students from diverse schools and backgrounds. These initiatives aim to nurture collaboration, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for music through shared performance experiences.
Beyond teaching, Shabnam is an accomplished freelance cellist and arranger.
