Mikko

Mikko is a guitar and ukulele teacher from Finland. He started learning guitar at the age of 8. He continued studies at the Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory and graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from Helsinki Polytechnic.

He is influenced by bands and music from The Beatles, Deep Purple, Wes Montgomery, Elvis, Jeff Beck and Beethoven.

Friendly and engaging, Mikko enjoys teaching both large groups and on one-to-one. He teaches a wide range of age and ability with his youngest student being just 4 years old. He currently teaches at The String Club, After School Club and many holiday camps.

With a real passion for sharing music and knowledge, Mikko treats each students as individuals, using unique expertise to tailor lessons in just the right way to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
